Unregulated and Regulated PFASs in Bottled and Tap Water: Occurrence, Co-Occurrence Patterns, and Implications for Human Health and Regulatory Frameworks

Quoted values stay tied to the cited study. Empty sections are gaps.

Summary

Key numbers

Source-reported values checked against the cited page of the filed PDF. Values are reported as printed, without conversion. These are selected records, not an exhaustive transcription.

Evidence Fitness

Bounded transcription of selected occurrence statistics, not a complete numeric extraction of the paper. Other matrices, risk calculations, regulatory limits and literature comparisons are excluded.

Methods (brief)

SPE with weak-anion-exchange sorbent followed by LC-MS/MS in MRM mode, PDF pp. 3-4. The EPA Method 533 native analyte standard is named; this alone does not establish full method compliance.

Target labels as printed: PFBA; PFBS; PFHxA; PFPeA; PFHpA; PFHxS; PFHpS; PFOA; PFNA; PFOS; PFDA; PFNS; PFDoDA; PFDS; PFUnDA (Table 1); PFMPA; 4:2 FTSA; HFPO-DA; NFDHA; PFEESA; PFMBA; DONA; 6:2 FTSA; 9Cl-PF3ONS; 8:2 FTSA; 11Cl-PF3OUdS; PFOSA (Table 2).

Detection and quantification limits: LOD 0.02 ng/L and LOQ 0.06 ng/L for all targeted compounds, PDF p. 5, section 2.5. Table 1 <LOQ is retained.

Limitations

Supplementary Tables S1-S11 are not deposited. Abstract composition proportions differ from the tabulated regulated/unregulated means when interpreted as the same denominator, so no proportions are routed. Table means have unspecified nondetect treatment. All tap-water and risk calculations excluded.

Provenance notes

DOI and citation metadata checked against the deposited PDF title page; no online resolution attempted. MANIFEST identity matched. PDF copied without modification; raw_path and sha256 retain local provenance. All printed values and censoring retained without conversion or conflict repair. See reports/bottled-drinking-water/MISMATCHES.csv.
